red jeep

I was still and the world around me was moving. I knew it was an illusion of the ride, but I was not ready to accept the fact, because sometimes it is better to watch a magic show without knowing the tricks.  For a moment I tried to forget the fact and enjoy those moving images. It was like watching a film in world’s best theatre.  Those illusions made it a magical moment.
I and eleven of my friends, a dozen of young men in total were going to a picnic. We were going to a hill station. The place was very beautiful. I never saw a heaven but a heaven might look like that place. The place had such an attraction that cannot be explained.
“But it can be captured.”  My mind reminded.
I took out my camera and started clicking. The place was beautiful in my eyes but looked even better in camera eyes.  I took the photos of hill, animals and everything that came in front of my camera. My friends posed in different ways for their next profile picture. The situation remembered me a quote once heard.
“Before photos are taken for memories but now for social networks.”
We had a great fun in the hill station. The solo tree in the hill placed a strong root in my memories.  The hill station was surrounded by seven mountains. Those mountains were like Kailas, as showed in the films.
“Look at the red jeep. It is standing on the top of that mountain.”
My friend shouted, like he was seeing sun in the midnight. Every one of us shouted and waved at them. We were not able to see anyone except the jeep. At that time one of my friends came up with an idea of using my camera. He was right. The persons in the jeep were clearly visible in my camera. There were two people, a boy and a girl.
“Keep observing them. You may get a hot video.” One of my friends suggested.
What my friend said was against my ethics. So I switched my attention on my friends and started clicking their group photos. But I was curious about what they might be doing on that lonely mountain. I couldn't control my curiosity and shifted my focus on them.
They were standing on the edge of the mountain. He was saying something to her. They both kissed for a minute and hugged each other. Later he placed his hand on her hand and both faced me. I took a picture of that sweat couple. The picture was very romantic; I viewed it for a quite long time. But I was not fully satisfied; I wanted to take one more. I focused my camera back on them.
The mountain was same as before but those two were missing. The red jeep was still standing on the same spot. The couple disappeared in less than a minute. I didn't wanted to be a sadist; but I couldn't stop my mind thinking negative. The sweet couple vanished from the mountain by making me the only witness of their departure.
The time was passing and the sun started hiding behind the mountains. The red jeep was still standing on the same spot but no one showed up around that. At the end of the day every one of us were tired and nobody wished to stay in that heaven, except those two. We safely returned to our houses with nothing except the memories. The day ended with a sleep for tired body.

Next day I released the memories hidden in my camera. Those images made me to fly in my dreams except one photo. It was a photo of the mountain that swallowed the couple. It brought me to the ground.  After that day the picture of the mountain became my nightmare. Although it haunted me like a ghost I liked to see the picture because every time I look into it, my eyes search for the red jeep and the jeep takes me to the sweet couple in my memory.
