Chickens

Two chickens in the cage are talking.
“I am going to die today.”
A hen says to a chick in fear.                                                                                            "How do you know?"
Chick asks in surprise
“We chickens have a curse from god. We will die if we think of death. Today I               thought about it and I will die."
the hen replies.
“Don’t worry. Nothing will happen to you. You will live long with us. "
Chick tries to convince it.
Suddenly a man opens the door of the cage and takes the hen out of it and cuts its throat with a sharp knife. Hen dies a minute later in pain. The man prepares a chicken dish using hen's flesh and blames the hen for foolishly thinking about death.
************************************************************************

Question:  Why does the hen die?
Answer:    Because the man thought about its death.

Both man and hen thought about hen's death but the blame goes for hen. The stronger one always gets the benefit of myths. This is a simple example to show how coincide becomes myth. There are many incidences in our life where coincidences become beliefs and these beliefs turn into superstitious. Try to come out of these foolish beliefs.
